I'm linking up with Flying Into First Grade for her Let's Get Acquainted Linky - Noun Game. I've been reading so many posts by other bloggers and this is just too much fun to miss,
My Favorite Person: Just can't name one person here. I have a WONDERFUL family - a fun-loving husband, 4 great children, 3 terrific grandchildren, an amazing son-in-law and my son's adorable steady girlfriend. These are my favorite people!
My Favorite Place: Hands down my favorite place is Barcelona, Spain. I spent a week there last summer and I fell in love, love, love with the city of mosaic, art, music, and dance. Can't wait to go back!
My Favorite Thing: My favorite thing is my swimming pool! If you live in Arizona, you try to live in a swimming pool as much as possible. There is nothing like jumping into cool water on a 115 degree day!
My Favorite Animal: Baby quail. They are the cutest dang things! We have them all over Tucson and this is the time of the year they'll begin to hatch. I have a momma quail that uses my front flower bed as a nest every year. Pretty soon, I open the front door and see these little critters scampering around our front porch. Just too cute.
Now before you go, I MUST tell you about Kimberly Ann's 300 Followers Give Away. Live, Laugh, I Love Kindergarten is having a HUGE celebration. There are so many opportunities to win so many great items. (Thanks Kimberly Ann for including me in your party!). Please head right over for your chance to win many great classroom packets.
Have a great rest of the week!

I have never seen a baby quail before. How cute!
ReplyDeleteThey are the cutest! I look forward to their hatching every spring!

Oh my gosh! when I see those tiny quail following along, I go bonkers! They are so cute! We have them in my area too but I rarely see the babies. I would love to have a pool when it hits over 100 degrees! I'd be in the pool all day long :)
ReplyDeleteMaribel
Maribel, I am in the pool all day long! Anytime you're in Tucson - pop over for a swim and a cool drink! It was great meeting you this weekend.

Thanks for the shout out! I wish I had a pool! OR just weather warm enough that I could go swimming!

I want to go to Spain and see the wall. The babies are so cute.

Interestingly, the wall is only one of fabulous pieces of public art. Barcelona is a city filled with tributes to the creativity of man.

Barcelona is my #1 place that I want to travel to, but haven't been to yet. It's on MY bucket list! :)
ReplyDeleteWe did your Bunny Craftivity today. I'll post about it within a couple days! LOVE IT!

I am so glad your children enjoyed the craft! Can't wait to see the finished products.
ReplyDeleteBarcelona won't disappoint you when you get there. I had HUGE expectations for Barcelona... and the city exceeded my expectation!
